Sunforce 45455 Wind Generator 30′ Tower Kit Review

Sunforce 45455 Wind Generator 30' Tower Kit

Sunforce 45455 Wind Generator 30' Tower Kit

This is something that you will probably need because a wind turbine should go as high as possible to be as efficient as possible. If you don’t have a very tall house this is a good way of installing your wind turbine.

The kit consists of all the things you need to erect the tower in a fast and safe way. You have the pipes that will be your tower, guy wires, the plates that go into the ground and the manual. You don’t need any special tools for this job, all you need is a couple of hours and the manual. The manual is a rather good one because it explains the process of installing the tower in easy to understand steps. A good manual goes a very long way, so make sure that you use this one.

UPDATE: Save over $160 on Amazon if you purchase this wind generator tower kit through this link!

You should consider installing the tower on a cement base, but even a bit of firm ground is good enough. It will be a bit flexible, but that is a good thing because it means that it will allow your wind turbine of choice to use as much of the wind as possible. Being 30 feet high is very good at increasing efficiency as well.

The tower kit can also house a solar panel array, if you need additional space, but it is mainly designed to support wind turbines. It can hold most commercially available wind turbines, but if you have already purchased your turbine you should ask about the tower being able to support the weight properly, especially if you have a larger one.

Make sure that you have a friend around to help you after installing the wind turbine because you will need to raise it to the top of the tower, and that is not the easiest task.
